I have been drawing,creating,& putting things down on paper for longer than I can remember,a need to do so out of necessity and a love for the process,from an idea,out of inspiration,or somewhere else,to making it real through visualisation,ritual,and will,a magical process in the true sense of the word.
An itch that may come into mind and needs to be etched into something solid! Im not sure where the images I depict come from,they are either dream images,or can be there when waking,or show themselves on the page in front of me like automatic drawing and its when they take on form and expression on the page that I might take over and some connitation can be taken from them and expanded on to make the whole idea complete.
My work is concerned with human and/or organic forms,twisting,reaching and evolving out of and beyond their usual and recognizable limitations and perameters,maybe how a ghost may imagine itself if having never looked in a mirror,and alternate transitional and unrestrained states of being,body and soul being separate or disslocated entities
